Necromunda

Games Workshop’s Necromunda was my favourite game (and still would be if it was easier to get a game together). Since not many models were required, I ended up putting together several gangs.

Delaque

The ‘Entropic Spiders’ were my first gang, built and painted pretty soon after the game came out – 1995, when I was at university and therefore had spare time to do it! They were later reformed as ‘The Blue Shadows’.

Ratskin Renegades

Going by the name of ‘Hamlyn Avengers’, these were my Outlanders gang, again collected and painted soon after they came out.

The reason this gang got bigger than the rest is because I realised after playing them for a while that you could effectively increase the gang size indefinitely and still be able to support them (in the original rules). Every other gang suffered more upkeep costs as they got bigger, but Ratskins were better at foraging…

Hired Guns

Underhive Scum. I think the one in the middle was my original, and the others I picked up later.

Pit Slaves, with Bounty Hunter in the middle. I don’t remember ever using these in a game, but I wanted some for completeness.

Ash Waste Nomads

After the rules appeared in Gang War magazine, I converted up this Ash Waste gang. They were all made from models I already had lying around, so I kind of got a new gang for free! Most of these models are converted to some extent.

Ganger [Valhallan Sergeant], Leader [Missionary], Ganger [Confrontation Bounty Hunter with a Skaven Spear!], Juve [Delaque]

After going through these photos I think I’m missing a ganger – I’ll have to have a look for him!

When the later Specialist Games Ash Nomad miniatures came out I bought those too, but I ended up deciding I liked my converted ones better.

Guilder Gang

Another gang from Necromunda Magazine which used some old models I had. I don’t think I ever actually played any games with them though.

The infamous Kal Jerico (I lost his sidekick Scabbs though), 4 Mercenaries made from – RT Adventurer, Confrontation Hunter, Orlock, Confrontation Bounty Hunter

I must have been in my mid teens when the Confrontation rules and models came out but friends and I played it a few times so that’s why I had the models around.
